  • How much does a wedding at Glen Ellen cost?
    Our wedding packages range from $5500–$9500. All packages include 8 hours of rental (2 hours Manor House, 5 hour event time, 1 hour breakdown). We open the property for your family/vendors to access at 11am on the day of the event to drop-off, set-up, and, decorate. No event can end later than 11pm (Frederick County Noise Ordinance) on Fri & Sat, 9pm on Sun & Weekdays. Tables, Chairs, Tenting, Lighting, Restroom trailer included in the rental fee. Please send us an email for an extensive list of wedding packages and pricing. Please note: We offer 5% off for active duty military.
  • Is your tent included in the price?
    Yes, our classic structurally engineered 40 x 80 tent is included! It also comes with three beautiful bronze chandeliers, twinkling ceiling lights, and, palladian windowed sides. It can accommodate 200 guests.
  • Do you provide a day-of coordinator or staff?
    Glen Ellen does not provide a day-of coordinator, but one is required for all weddings. Glen Ellen's staff will set up your floor plan so it is all ready for your vendors to arrive at 11am to drop off and decorate! We also have a staff that will welcome your guests, direct parking, and, follow through cocktail hour as a team to your vendors! Our Facilities Manager will be on-site from start to finish. On the day of the wedding, we do provide you with a Manor Mom who will attend to the family during their time in the Manor House. The responsibility of the staff members is maintenance, security, and, to be available for you and your vendors in case of any issues. Your Day-of Coordinator will assist with décor setup, timelines, making sure all vendors are working together, and, all the particular details of your beautiful day!
  • Are tables & chairs included in the rental?
    We include tables and chairs for 180 guests for no additional charge.
  • What about linens & décor?
    Linens and all other decorations (candles, china, glassware, silverware, etc) will come from the caterer or rental company.
  • Can I use a caterer that is not on your list?
    Glen Ellen requires a caterer from our selected caterer list. Please email events@glenellenfarm.com to inquire more.
  • May we provide our own alcohol?
    Yes. All alcohol must be served by a licensed bartender and must have proof of TAM/TIP along with their COI. Most caterer’s provide this staff person.
  • What is the payment schedule?
    To reserve a date a $2,000 Reservation Deposit goes entirely towards your balance, 50% of the full rental will be due 90 days from signing the contract, and, the remaining balance due 90 days prior to the event date.
  • Will I get my reservation deposit back?
    No. It is important to understand that we reserve the date and facilities required for each client, and, consequently turn away others who subsequently requested that date.
  • Is special event insurance required?
    Yes. A standard $1,000,000 policy is required at least 30 days prior to your wedding. This can be purchased through your homeowners or renter’s insurance, or, websites online. We also require all vendors to be insured (DJ’s, florists, caterers, photographers, etc).
  • Can I rent out Glen Ellen Farm for other events besides weddings?
    Yes! Our historic manor and grounds are available for small events or large-scale galas. Discover the beauty of our 30 acres and celebrate your next event with our elegance and sophisticated charm. Perfect for a small fundraising event beside the meadow or a majestic gala under the evening stars, we provide a gorgeous setting with deep roots in Frederick County.   • What are the current COVID restrictions?
    State guidelines have now been lifted, horray! There are currently no restrictions for outdoor wedding venues so we can now function at full capacity: 250 in our main tent, or, our full capacity with the requirement of an additional tent over our stone patio.
